A mid-heavy weight embroidered half-zip crew carrying the Perentie, Australia's largest monitor lizard. 350 GSM, 80% cotton / 20% recycled polyester anti-pill fleece, cut to a regular fit with a mock neck and smooth front zip — pre-shrunk and built to be worn hard and kept for years. The Perentie sits on the left chest in finely detailed thread, while a small footprint is embroidered on the back — a subtle trace of the giant behind the design. Part of the Ineffable Wildlife collection.

Varanus giganteus

The Perentie is the largest monitor lizard in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, reaching well over two metres from snout to tail. A creature of the arid interior, it patrols the red deserts and rocky ranges with a slow, deliberate stride, then breaks into astonishing speed when hunting or fleeing — even rearing up on its hind legs to survey the ground. Powerful, patient and armed with sharp claws and a whip-like tail, it sits near the top of the desert food chain. A true titan of the outback, rendered thread for thread into The Titan.
